{ Write More Music! } is the result of work by many talented individuals.  Here’s who we are:

Kyle D. Vanderburg (Senior Editor & Creative Director) is a composer currently residing in the Midwestern United States. He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music composition from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri, where he studied composition under Dr. Carlyle Sharpe and conducting under Dr. Christopher Koch. He has primarily written chamber music, but is working to expand his musical palette, as is evident by his Mass for chorus and orchestra.

Dugan Corsolini (Managing Editor) is in his senior year of study at Drury University studying biology and music.  He plays trombone with Jazz Ensemble 1, Wind Symphony, and the Springfield-Drury Civic Orchestra.  He has studied trombone with Leon Bradley and Bob Swanson and composition with Dr. Carlyle Sharpe.

Maggie Gann (Editor-In-Chief & Slayer of Commas) is a graduate of Drury University.  She studied saxophone under Dr. Tina Claussen, piano under Sungsil Kim, and composition under Dr. Carlyle Sharpe.  Her works include several small suites for winds, a string orchestra and double harp piece, and pieces in-progress for tenor and piano and saxophone.

Kieran Ojakangas (Undergraduate Editor) is a musician that graduated from Springfield, Missouri’s Central High School in 2009. He is planning to take undergraduate studies with Music as one of his majors at Drury University. During his senior year at Central, he completed an independent study of the Music subject of the International Baccalaureate program. Having mostly completed three pieces, he is in the process of writing some others, including a seven movement modern symphonic work. He has also played cello for twelve years and has always scored the two highest ratings at MSHAA State competitions and competitions hosted locally by the Federation of Music Clubs.
